At The Beverly Estates, we are committed to providing reliable care and housing services. Because each placement requires advance preparation, staffing, room scheduling, and home readiness, the following refund policies apply to all service payments.

1. Personal Care Home Payments

  • Monthly or Weekly Care Fees

Payments for Personal Care Home services are non-refundable once the billing period begins. This includes all levels of care such as Basic Care, Mid-Level Care, and Specialized Care.

  • Move-In Payments

The first payment made to secure a room in the Personal Care Home is non-refundable once a move-in date is confirmed. This is because the room is reserved, prepared, and staffed specifically for the resident.

  • Early Move-Out

If a resident leaves before the end of the paid period, there is no prorated refund. Care planning, staffing, and room allocation have already been completed for that billing cycle.

2. Independent Living Housing Program Payments

  • Monthly Housing Fees

Payments for the Independent Living Housing Program are non-refundable after the resident has moved in or once the billing cycle begins. This includes shared rooms, enhanced rooms, or private rooms when available.

  • Room Hold Payments

If payment is made to reserve a room, that payment is non-refundable unless The Beverly Estates is unable to provide the room that was reserved.

  • Voluntary Early Move-Out

No prorated refund is offered if a resident chooses to leave before the end of the paid month.

3. Short Term and Recovery Stays

Payments for short-term stays are non-refundable once the stay has begun. This includes weekly and monthly temporary housing, recovery housing, and transition stays.

4. Situations Where Refunds May Be Provided

Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:

  • The Beverly Estates cancels or cannot provide the room or service after payment has been made.

  • A duplicate payment was submitted in error.

  • A billing mistake occurred on our end.

These situations will be reviewed within 5 to 10 business days.

5. Medical or Emergency Relocation

If a resident must relocate due to a medical emergency or a change in care needs, payments remain non-refundable. However, our team will assist families in arranging the transition to the appropriate level of care.
